For the love of Fur vests

If you want to add a little bit of luxe and serious texture to your wardrobe, a fur vest is just the piece to do this. It is versatile because it can be worn both dressy and casual with just a hint of high fashion. Whenever I am wearing one, I feel super trendy and chic. Real fur vests can get pricey but luckily there are plenty of faux fur options that are completely affordable. (I’m not taking a stance on if you should go with real fur or faux fur). Most faux fur looks real from far away but to the touch you may be able to feel a difference. If you are looking to sport an extremely trendy look, it maybe be easier to find it in faux fur as opposed to real fur. The winter cold months are almost over but a fur vest can still be worn in springtime during the evening if you have one in a light color. A solid black fur vest can be worn as well in the evening for a more dressy occasion. Here is my fur vest worn three ways. Outfit of the day (OOTD) pics from the Blog Launch Photo Shoot

These are OOTD (outfit of the day) pics from the header photo shoot day. My corduroy blazer is from Zara and it’s actually a few years old. I never wore it before and I cut off the tags right before I took these pics! I don’t believe it fit me at one point (probably some time in between pregnancies) and that’s probably when I forgot all about it. You can read all about my love for blazers here. The jeans are from a fairly new store which I absolutely love- Cwonder. The owner is Tory Burch’s ex-husband. I refer to Cwonder as the more affordable version of Tory Burch. The jeans were 75% off, only $20! I like Cwonder jeans because they are mid rise and not low rise jeans. My scarf was purchased at Century 21, for only $20 as well. It’s made of 100% silk from Anne Klein.

For the love of Blazers.

I have very recently started incorporating blazers into my everyday wardrobe and I love them. They are my current go to look and they go with every look. They can be paired with jeans, trousers, long tops, blouses and dresses. Blazers’ versatility and the fact that they come in long and short lengths make them a current wardrobe staple. They can dress up an outfit, or they can tone it down. Zara is still having their sale and their blazers have expert fit and detailing to die for. I recently bought a blazer from Zara with ruching and poof sleeves (proper terminology?) which make your waist look slimmer by giving you a broad shoulder look. I also recently purchased a gorgeous short length blazer from BCBGmaxazria from bloomingdales. It was over 50% off and it’s fuschia pink which is the perfect pop of color for the winter cold, and it can easily be transitioned into the spring and summer months. I like BCBGmaxazria because of their wide range of sizes. They have XXS which most brands don’t have. H&M also has extremely affordable blazers for great prices and their sizes fit XXS to plus. I have attached pics of both of my blazers.
